I was testing a new camera on the sun this morning. After a bit, the clouds rolled in and I was getting ready to roll out, when through the clouds I saw a BIG prominence unfurling and being hurled out into space.

A total of seven minutes elapsed between these two pictures. Check out the image size from the new Point Grey Research Grasshopper Express camera with ICX 694 sensor - six megapixels. It's HUGE!
